  • Games of Padel are played as the best of three sets, each of which consist of six games.
  • Game is played as in tennis, e.g. 15/0, 30/0, 40/0, advantage, deuce etc.
  • If the score gets to 6-6, a tiebreak is played as in tennis.

SERVICE

  • Play begins with an underhand serve from the right side of the court and is played into the opponent's service box diagonally across, similar to tennis. The server has two opportunities to complete the serve.
  • The server stands behind the service line, oponnent stands wherever in the court, but diagonally to the server.
  • The server must allow the ball to bounce once before hitting it and the ball must be hit below waist level /underhand/.
  • The serve must land in the opponent's service box, only after landing can oponnent play it.
  • If the ball lands out of the service box, it is a fault.
  • If the ball lands in the service box, but hits the wire fencing before landing, it is considered as a fault.

If the ball touches the net before landing in the service box, it is let, new service.

PLAY

  • If the ball is already in the play it has to go over the net and always bounce off the surface on the oponnent´s side, before it hits one of the walls,
  • The players can play volley (The ball can be taken out of the air)
  • The players can hit the ball after bouncing out off one of the walls ( only if it is not out of bounce – it did not hit directly the wall before bouncing the surface on the opponent's side)
  • During rallies the ball is only permitted to hit the playing surface once, and is played only with one stroke on the oponnent´s side.
  • Your stroke must be strong enough that the ball is able to go over the net on the oponnent´s side.
  • The team of oponnets has to run after the ball and play it back on your side the same way
  • This way of the game is exciting and full of fun!
